The Story
Tolinx was born from a simple need: a word counter that accurately handles mixed Chinese/English text without uploading drafts to a server. Existing tools were either full of ads, required login, or had poor counting logic.
So we built the first tool—Word Counter. Soon after, we realized that image compression, EXIF removal, and text deduplication faced similar privacy risks. We decided to re-engineer all these utilities as pure client-side apps and bundle them into Tolinx.
Today, Tolinx supports Chinese, English, and Spanish, serving users from all over the globe.
